Deer are frequently victims of accidents with vehicles as they try to cross busy highways. Bright, a female whitetail deer, was one of these victims. Her mother was killed while attempting to cross a busy road. Bright, was critically hurt and in shock when she was found and brought to WARM.

As a result of Bright's injuries as an infant, her tongue does not function properly and she has some difficulty forraging.
